On Monday, teachers were able to participate in job-embedded PD during their planning time and after school. Below is a list of what was offered during the day:
1st Period- Jennifer Hogan: Twitter Advanced: How to increase your connectedness, develop your PLN, etc…
2nd Period- Brad Coltrane: Using Notability with Dropbox and other functions of Dropbox
3rd Period- Jill Westerlund: Beyond the basics of Edmodo Kelley Self: Nearpod- How to use Nearpod to connect with students.
4th Period- Holly Sutherland: Twitter 101: Now that you have Twitter, how do I chat, start a PLN, etc…
5th Period- Holly Sutherland Twitter 101: Now that you have Twitter, how do I chat, start a PLN, etc… Josh Rutsky:GradeCam: Turn your document camera into a scan tron reader and grader
6th Period- Carrie Busby: Using Edmodo to annotate papers, etc… Carrie will show teachers how to have students submit essays through Edmodo and how to annotate using the highlight, comment, strikeout, and text box features.
7th Period- Anthony Hamley: Moodle 101 Moodle 101 will be a Moodle for beginners workshop for anyone interested in using Moodle as an online classroom, a place for online class discussions, or even as a class web page. We will get hands-on experience with the basics of starting a course, including ways to format topics (i.e. sections of the page), different ways to embed links, and methods to create a class discussion forum, a survey, etc. all participants need a Moodle login, so register beforehand so that we can get you one.

This day went so well that other sessions will be offered for those who could not attend. I have received many emails asking for additional sessions and praising the format of the PD.
